JIL receives Election Automation Orientation

Marlowe visited Tacurong city last March 28, 2010 to orient members of the Jesus Is Lord (JIL) church about election automation. The afternoon orientation was the result of an endeavor of Bernard Haw to brief, orient and make the members of the JIL and the Bangon Pilipinas movement aware of the new technology specifically the Precinct Count Optical Scanner (PCOS) and the scenario for the May 2010 election. The orientation took two (2) hours in which after the video and PowerPoint presentations, an open forum was held.

Marlowe, the owner of this site, has acquired a brand new Nikon D90 Single Lens Reflex (SLR) digital camera. After several months of praying and working to earn the amount, the camera is now in his possession. It is expected that the gadget will be used in the ministry, and the pursuit of beauty and scenes that the nature can provide. Marlowe will climb the Philippine’s highest mountain- the majestic Mt. FEBRUARY 2010 MANRED TRAINING

Marlowe was privileged to attend a 2-day training/seminar at AJ Hi-time Hotel in Kidapawan City conducted by Manila Resource Development Corp. (MANRED) for SMARTMATIC in Consolidation Canvassing System (CCS) Technician to be assigned (hopefully) in Sultan Kudarat and to work in tandem with the COMELEC Board of Canvassers (BOC). The first day was a seminar on the functionality and features of the CCS otherwise known as the Real-time Electoral Information System (REIS), and the works of the technician before, during and after the election.
