First in Me
“No one knows my wandering except my God. The second change is worth to live. How can I discover the worth of its meaning?”
1. THE ELDEST OF THE ELDEST OF AN ELDEST. I’m the eldest son of an eldest father from an eldest grandfather. In Muslim Mindanao, I’m suppose to be handling the tarsilan keeping all the records of our descendants.
2. CLINICAL DEATH EXPERIENCE. I experienced clinical death when I was 6 months and 12 days old- that was when my family exhausted all the resources to have my brain fixed. I got a meningitis, and the family doctor sees that I can’t make it. He declared that if I can survive, I will be totally abnormal. So, that’s it- motionless, the sign of life left me dead. I was already stocked in a morgue waiting to be embalmed but delayed because the 4 dead (stubbed) men were given priority. For the next 24 hours in the morgue, my father fasted as he prayed for my restoration….well, that was the story that reached me in packets. In 2003, I went back to my hometown to look for the funeral home, and the hospital where I was medicated to get records, but dismayed because they have migrated to other places after their establishments were closed.
3. UFO SIGHTING. When I was in grade four, 4 o’clock in the afternoon while securing palay for milling, I saw 2 red objects in the sky- really red, it looks like kitchen plates, or like bilao with its same covering at the top- it’s like being thrown in the sky but it was really huge and foreign. At the height of a coconut tree, almost 300 meters away, I didn’t heard any sound of its motion. These 2 objects moves to the east in a synchronized manner, same in speed and uniform in distance, alternately releasing its glow like a blink of a flip-flop. When I asked my mother about the object (because she was with me doing the task), she can’t give me any answer because she did not saw it in the first place. I mean, the feeling was so opposite, that while I was very eager to get an answer, my mother was so passive about my inquiry. I did kept an eye on the strange object as it slowly reduce in size as it goes farther. The inquiry about the object was not answered for 21 years until I saw a documentation in the National Geographic TV channel about UFO sightings. Now, I confirmed into myself that what I saw was something that not all human beings have experienced.
4. THE GATE KEEPER. I didn’t know that being a gate keeper in the church was a sort of ministry. In grade 3, I used to clean the church every early Sunday, arranged for the table, put table clothes and song books, open the church for the worshipers and close the same after the service.
5. ORGANIZATIONS. In college, I was entrusted leadership positions while maintaining grades in the dean’s list. That was in 1992: I was the president of Inter-Varsity Christian Fellowship (IVCF) in the University, Council officer of Inter-Org Christian Fellowship (IOCF), President of Philippine Industrial Educator’s Society, President of Kabacan Baptist Church’ Youth, President of Daguma Baptist Church’ Youth, President of Zone-4 Southern Baptist Youth Fellowship, and PIO of Sultan Kudarat Baptist Youth Fellowship. During this era, all organizations under my leadership attained its peak in terms of its membership and activities.
6. PERSONAL COMPUTER. I am the first in the family to have a PC. When I bought my PC, that was when 486 was the leader with 64MB RAM and 560MB of HDD. At least, I started with Windows 95. Then, in 2003, three months after the manufacturing date of the processor, I got a black P-IV with Intel P4Pe Mboard, Intel Pentium4-2.8 GHz processor with multi-threading technology, 40GB Barrakuda HD, 512MB RAM, huge 17″ screen, 64MB GForce4 sound card and a Creative speaker. Now
7. SCHOLARSHIP. In the school (NCCAT, now USM) where I worked , I was the first to have enjoyed scholarship program sponsored by the Civil Service Commission (CSC-LSP-MD)- a government scholar for 1 year. Relieved of all my teaching positions, I enjoyed going to school, making my machine in Photographic Silk-screen printing (thesis), and attending programming class at Systems Technology Institute (STI) in Tacurong City.
8. CYBER WORKS. Back to eaching work after the scholarship, I was the first man put in-charge of the USM-KCC Cyberspace Center. Until now.
9. MINISTRY. Being in the core of leadership, I offered my house as a center of the RSBYF- CAMP FORTRESS meetings, keepers of ministry documents and gallery of the camps memorabilia. Lately, I was volunteered in the Mindanao-Visayas Baptist Youth Fellowship (MVBYF) as Publication Director for the young professionals.
10. MOBILE PHONE. In the Philippine era of telecommunication when NOKIA 5110 was the top of the line, I got a 2-liner Ericsson S868 with an antenna. Today, toys like this with some sort of protruding is likely annoying in the pocket. After outgrowing Nokia 32xx lines, got a high-end Sony Ericsson K700i. In May 2006, 9 months after using K700i, I gave it to my sister for an upgrade. Then, I used the SE W800i walkman with 2.0 mega pixel camera & 512Mb internal memory. Now, am using SE K850i with whooping 5.0 mega pixel & 512MB internal memory.
11. SSB RADIO. In 1996, Alinco DJ-180 VHF transmitter was my mode of communication when mobile phone was not yet the tool we know today. Our family matched this with the ICOM 02A VHF. These instruments helped us ease the problem with homesickness since I worked from a distant place. Of course, I towered a 6-loop antenna I designed myself.
12. FEBRUARY 14. I do not go out of February 14. I met a vehicular accident twice already. Got a laceration on my left ear, was stocked between rocks in a creek, and hospitalized. Now young people wonder why I stayed home in valentine’s day.
13. COLLEGE RING. Its an 18k gold ring that I ordered from Cagayan de Oro City. When I gained weight, I didn’t noticed that the ring seems to make a notch on my finger. After 6 years of wearing, I had it to be re-sized to a goldsmith.
14. THE MEDALLION. In 1994, I received the medal after reaching a Grade Point Average (GPA) of 1.725. Still the first in the clan to get the award. The only in my class when I graduated the BS course. A Presidential Decree 907 grantee for honor graduate, a record breaking since the last Cum Laude (my Industrial Arts Professor) got it in 1975.
15. VERTIGO. Got this sort of problem of becoming workaholic. In spite of this, I am gaining weight. From June to November 2003, got a difference of 7 kilos, huh! Now the first to gain 71 kilos, I cant manage my body. I was hospitalized. Staying in the hospital seems boring since I cant work with my PC, I asked the doctor if I can play with my painting brushes. While staying in the hospital for 4 days, I finished a masterpiece- a 12″ x 18″ oil in canvass.
16. CAMERAS. In 2003, I got a Victor 20x MiniDV GR-DVM1 videocam from a pawnshop. Though an old class of handy cam, it gave me the passion to record activities of any sort. Got hold also of a JVC Camcorder GR-AX201A and several Canon PowerShots (that’s when A200 and A400 was the latest). Now, I’m using a brand new DSC-H1 12x Sony Cyber-Shot 5.1 MPix equipped with 256MB memory stick duo pro and black leather jacket encasement for my nature trekking & adventure. In March of 2010, I bought a pro camera, the Nikon D90 equipped with 55-105mm AF-S Nikkor G VR lens and a 4gb SDHC memory card.
17. MOTORCYCLE. Got a Motoposh Intense 125CC sport motorcycle. The first in Kidapawan City to run said unit that can be mistaken to YAMAHA X1R. Sure enough to check its compatibility, the YAMAHA Sniper rim fit 100 percent to it. That was an upgrade.
18. ACCREDITATION. It is a privilege to visit State Universities & Colleges (SUC) in the country, stay with them for a week, check and verify documents, have a look of the physical strength & laboratories, attend classroom activities, interview administrators, faculty & stakeholders, visit to extension activities, and more. My University of Eastern Philippines (UEP, Catarman, Northern Samar, January 2010) counterpart said I have done my part as “kayod-padyak”. She mean to say, I am making my job/assignment religiously.
19. MP3. I used to buy original CDs and VCds of Hillsongs, Don Moen, Collin Raye, Bob Fitts, Matt Redman, Sonic Flood, Ron Kenoly, Steve Green, DC Talk, WOW and DOVE compilations, among others. Yes, I was a fanatic collector rushing to House of Praise stalls whenever a new releave was on the shelf. In my laptop, I have more than 110 folders with more than 2000 converted mp3 songs from my original collections housed on some 4 different types of CD jackets.
20. GORE-TEX TECHNOLOGY. Who knows about Gore-Tex? The origin of waterproof and breathable GORE-TEX® outerwear, footwear, and gloves starts with five little letters: ePTFE. ePTFE, or expanded polytetrafluoroethylene, was created by Bob Gore in 1969 when he rapidly stretched PTFE under certain conditions. The result was an incredibly strong, microporous material with an amazing list of characteristics including low water adsorption and good weathering properties. By 1978, GORE-TEX® fabric was introduced and the world met the first truly waterproof, breathable outerwear. Thanks to our commitment to unending innovation and creativity, waterproof and breathable GORE-TEX® products have continued to improve and evolve to keep in step with the changing needs of our custome.
The GORE-TEX® membrane: The secret of GORE-TEX® outerwear — which is both completely waterproof and completely breathable at the same time — lies within its revolutionary bi-component membrane. The membrane contains over 9 billion microscopic pores which are approximately 20,000 times smaller than a drop of water, but 700 times bigger than a molecule of moisture vapor. So while water in its liquid form cannot penetrate the GORE-TEX® membrane, as moisture vapor it can easily escape.
Waterproof, windproof and breathable: The patented GORE-TEX® membrane makes garments 100% waterproof, windproof and breathable so that you stay dry and comfortable under any conditions. I have a MERRELL Continuum shoes with Vibram sole and Gore-Tex technology. While it is water-proof (preventing water to come in), it permits moisture from my feet to escape easily, as if my feet is breathing.
21. QUANTUM SCIENCE and the SCALAR PENDANT. Scalar-Pendant is made from natural minerals that are fused and structurally bonded together at a molecular level. It produces scalar energy that helps to enhance the body’s biofield. Scalar-Pendant promotes positive flow of energy and helps to maintain energy balance. It helps to restore energy that has become weak in the body. By restoring the energy balance in the body this pendant helps one to maintain health and well-being.

.-God has a great plan to you sir thats why it happens specially 2ng clinical death experience…every things happened for good gud daw.jjejejeje..tc..
